‘Little bodies find strength’ in Turtle Yoga Programmes


By engaging in our specifically designed, developmentally appropriate yoga programmes young children gain many physical benefits including strength, coordination, and balance and flexibility.

Strength is developed in various muscle groups as children hold and transition between the poses.

Coordination is fostered as children gently move their body parts in different directions – forwards and backwards, up, and down, side by side.  

Balance is improved with practice as children learn to focus on specific body parts and movements.

Flexibility develops as children follow the poses and sequences in order and through repetition.


'Little minds find peace' in Turtle Yoga Programmes


By participating in our mindfulness and relaxation activities young children find peace through the many emotional benefits. Regular practice of breathing and related exercises reduces anxiety and improves self-control especially during stressful and new situations.


Turtle Yoga programmes for kids which include moments of relaxation contribute to improvements in sleep patterns and overall quality of sleep.  Our programmes integrate the mind and body to promote greater focus and concentration in all environments including home and school.


Our mix of structured and open-ended Mindfulness Activities are incorporated into every class and course to provide children with moments to pause, engage and reflect.

Children leave our Turtle Yoga for kid’s programmes feeling relaxed and happy as we emphasis a non-judgemental attitude towards thoughts and experiences throughout our programmes. Children learn to appreciate and respect their bodies and their sense of accomplishment and self-confidence is boosted as they participate in yoga poses, group games and activities with their peers.


Our small group yoga courses promote a sense of community and cooperation, foster teamwork and develop social interaction skills among children of all abilities while the partner poses encourage cooperation, kindness, and communication.


Our imaginative and unique stories, arts and crafts are enjoyable, stimulating and fun for children as they allow for individual expression and creativity in an encouraging and caring environment.
